Playground

The children’s play area is available to residents and their guests. Please note that children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult and that RGFL accepts no liability for the use of this area.

Gardens

Residents are invited to use the communal benches and tables in the gardens. Please ensure that any additional furniture owned by individual households is taken away at the end of the day. If you leave your furniture out, please be aware it may be used by other residents. More information on garden regulations can be found in the Members’ Area.

Parking

Riverview Gardens and surrounding streets are a controlled parking area. Visitor permits are available. Please contact Richmond Council for more information.  There are two Ubitricity lamppost electric charging points available for use. A type 2 cable is required.

Health, safety and security

Please familiarise yourself with the fire safety information displayed in the lobby of each block.
Please be sure to keep all front doors to blocks and individual flats shut when not in use and close garden gates behind you.

Waste and recycling service

Rubbish is collected from the common parts daily (with the exception of Sundays and Bank Holidays).

Residents should bag up waste securely and leave it out for collection as follows:

Monday to Friday: before 8am or after 10pm only.
Saturday: before 8am only.
Sunday: after 10pm only.

We are working to increase the amount of recycling in Riverview Gardens making full use of the facilities provided by the council. Glass, newspapers and plastic bottles for recycling will be collected alongside general rubbish (except Mondays). Please bag glass and plastics together and dismantle and flatten boxes, and observe the refuse collection times stated above.

In addition, small cardboard items and tins can be recycled by residents at the recycling bins in the garden at the back of the Porter’s office next to 1 Riverview Gardens and also at the garage next to 77-79 Riverview Gardens. Compost bins are also available for uncooked green vegetable waste at designated sites; please speak to the Porter for more information. Recycle as much as you are able to and if you have any ideas please let us know.
